A cognitive assessment is only as good as the data behind it. Here is how Testora IQ items are written, calibrated and scored — and how your results are protected.
Every answer is weighted by that item's calibrated difficulty and discrimination, so a hard item earns more than an easy one. Speed is used only as a tie-breaker within the timed sections.
Weighted scores are pooled into five domains — logical reasoning, pattern recognition, spatial reasoning, numerical ability and working memory — and expressed as percentiles against the reference sample.
Your total is converted to a standard score with a mean of 100 and a standard deviation of 15, then reported with a 90% confidence interval of roughly ±4 points.
Your report pairs the number with plain-language interpretation of strengths, weaker domains and evidence-based practice suggestions.
Testora IQ is a screening assessment for personal insight and coaching. It is not a clinical or diagnostic instrument, and it should not be used alone for hiring, educational placement or medical decisions.
